Best Steakhouse Happy Hours in Charlotte

By: Joseph Smith

Happy Hour or Steak Hour?

After being in Charlotte for a while you have to notice that we have some really nice steakhouse options. As a young professional these places aren’t always on my radar as a food option. If you’re like me you might visit them on special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, job promotions, restaurant week, etc… Well most of these Steak Houses actually have really good and affordable happy hour specials, everything from drinks, food, and even live music. The key to these happy hours is to stay in the bar area…. I repeat stay in the bar area, otherwise you may end up with a bill you weren’t expecting to pay on a Tuesday.

Morton’s calls their happy hour the “Power Hour”. Select beers are $5.50, Select Wines are $7.50, and Select Cocktails are $8.50. For food they offer their bar bites menu and items are $7 or $8.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse on Tryon St.

Monday through Friday in the bar area from 4:30-6:30 PM, Ruth’s Chris offers a select bar menu with items for only $8. Their offering of cocktails includes a Cosmo, Grasshopper, Manhattan, and Martini for $8 and they have select beer and wine specials.

With these prices you and your friends can enjoy a few rounds of drinks and appetizers. These are steakhouses and not Applebee’s so I would still suggest wearing business casual attire.

Enjoy Charlotte's amazing steakhouses!
