THURSDAY, APRIL 20th

Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend @Fahrenheit-Charlotte, 6pm

Support local children’s charities by attending this pairing dinner with @charleskrugwinery and the forth-generation winemaking Mondavi sisters, Riana and Alycia. All proceeds go to a good cause.

Hoppy Easter Beer Fest @Blackfinn Ameripub Ballantyne - 6p,

Sip on your favorite local brews and vote for your favorite craft beer to be on tap for the month of May. Blackfinn will also be featuring their new pub snacks for your munching pleasure.

 

Pink to Drink @Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, 6pm

Grab your buds, wear something pink and celebrate 24 Hours of Booty with Old Meck. There will be live music, fresh beer with appetizers, and great company. Moo & Brew Fest ft. Blues Traveler @The Music Factory, 12:30pm   

Some of your favorite burger joints will be competing for Charlotte’s best burger and you can wash them down with samples of almost 150 beers from 45 of the best local, regional, and national breweries. Fill your glass with unlimited samples and try them all! Tickets are just $35 presale or $45 the day of the event. Grab your tickets here.

 

Louisiana Spring Fest @Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, 11am

Let the good times roll on both Saturday & Sunday at The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery’s Seventh Annual Louisiana Spring Fest. There will be fresh crawdads flown in overnight directly from the bayous, along with jambalya, boiled shirimp, red skin potatoes, and corn on the cob.

There will be Cajun and Bluegrass music all day!

Saturday: Linville Creek Bluegrass, Goodfellers Band, & BACKSTREET

Sunday: River Ratz Band & Goodfellers Band

 

On the Farm Cooking Class with Heidi @ New Town Farms, 1pm

New Town Farms was established in 1990 by Sammy and Melinda Koenigsberg. These unique On the Farm classes kick off with a walking farm tour led by Sammy. He’ll share his farming philosophy and you’ll see firsthand what goes into growing the produce and raising the proteins sustainably produced at New Town Farms. You’ll meet the chickens and the laying hens, visit with the pigs, and then wind up in the kitchen making a four course meal from all that New Town has in season.

Wine parings with each course compliments of Josh Villapando from The Assorted Table Wine Shoppe at 7th Street market in Uptown Charlotte.  These classes are truly an incredible experience – don’t miss it! Cost $85 per person. For reservations, email Heidi Billotto at HLNC@carolina.rr.com.

 

SUNDAY, APRIL 23rd  

Charlotte Smoke Off BBQ Competition @The Unknown Brewing Company, 1pm

Have your friends told you that you have the best BBQ in Charlotte? Prove. It. Register to compete by emailing scotty@unknownbrewing.com.

If you’re wanting to enjoy this amazing BBQ, $10 at the door gets you unlimited samples till 5pm-- you then vote on your favorite one! Plus, pair this with flowing beer and live music to jam out to.  Proceeds benefit Purple Heart Homes.

 

MONDAY, APRIL 24th

Films on Tap @Birdsong Brewing Co., 6pm

Spring is here, and Films on Tap is gearing up for its sixth official beer and film pairing! Birdsong Brewing will host as the spring venue on Monday, April 24th. Plus, live music by New Hires, and hosted by the hilarious Blayr Nias Comedy - Pretty Funny For A Girl. Tickets are just $10 and include a flight of beer.

 

NC BeerSavvy Bootcamp @Sugar Creek Brewing, 12pm  

Want to know more about beer? This 4-hour class will introduce you to beer styles and service.

Wine & Cheese Tasting @Orrman’s Cheese Shop, 5:30pm

Taste a variety of cheeses and wines, sourced both locally and from around the world, guided by Josh of The Assorted Table and Rachel from Orrman's Cheese Shop. Tickets are $25 and you will also receive 10% off any cheese purchases the night of the event.
