THURSDAY, APRIL 6th

Bacon Bash @ The Unknown Brewing Company, 4pm

Bacon is back! Enjoy 10—that’s right—10 different beers infused with BACON.

 

O-Ku’s Sakura Celebration @ O-Ku Charlotte, 9pm

In Japanese, Sakura means “cherry blossom.” Each year, cherry blossoms bloom in March, signaling the arrival of spring. (Yay for glorious weather!) O-Ku is celebrating with complimentary samples of their spring menu, live entertainment, and a specialty cocktail. Make your reservations via Open Table so they know you’re joining them.

 

Opening Night @ Charlotte Knights, 7pm  

It’s officially baseball season, hooray! The first 7,500 attendees to the game will receive a 2017 Knights Magnet schedule and there will be food and drink specials all night long. Chocolate & Cheese with Potts Chocolate @ Orrman’s Cheese Shop, 6pm

Indulge in two of your greatest food obsessions while enjoying a glass of wine and mingling with your friends. Tickets are just $25, available here.

 

Craft Freedom Festival @ Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, 6pm

This craft beer tasting is going to be AWESOME. Tickets are just $30 and include admission, a celebratory glass, and samples from 11 breweries! There will be live music and unlimited tastings. Cheers!

 

National Beer Day @ Moo & Brew, 5pm

Celebrate #GoodTimes with a mouth-watering burger and brew. There will be live music from 8pm - 11pm and 704 Shop will be popping up. Mixology with Bob Peters @ Earls Grocery, 2:30pm   

Join Charlotte’s own @BobPeters for a spring mixing class featuring North Carolina Gins.  Free to the public.

 

Collab Release: Rice Rice Baby “Milk Stout” @ Birdsong Brewing, 12pm

Join Birdsong Brewing for the release of Rice Rice Baby (Lactose Free) Milk Stout! This year, for the first time ever, this special limited-release brew will be available in cans.

 

SUNDAY, APRIL 9th

Pig Picking @ Free Range Brewing featuring Sam Jones BBQ, 12pm

Join Free Range Brewing for the 2nd Annual Pig Picking with Order/Fire and Sam Jones of Sam Jones BBQ!

Schedule:

12pm - Doors open. Social hour begins. Catch the end of the pig cooking

1pm - @orderfireclt S2E7 featuring Sam Jones

2pm - 7pm - (or until supplies last) BBQ and sides will be served!

A suggested $10 donation gets you a plate of BBQ and sides. All proceeds will go to the Community Culinary School of Charlotte.

 

Pop-Up Market @ Birdsong Brewing, 1pm  

The Bulb is fighting to end food deserts by creating pop-up markets that provide access to local nutrition and education on health and wellness.
