#1 Setting Spray

The secret to having your makeup last all day long is finding a good setting spray. This ensures that the makeup won’t melt all of the powders into the skin rather than having them sit on top of the skin, which makes it last all day and night. I use it on all of my clients (brides) who, of course, need to look amazing for at least 12 hours!

My favorite setting spray of all time is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. It may seem expensive, priced at $32 each, but why spend all the time and money getting ready when you don’t have something to make it last all day? They have a travel sized bottle for $15 too. If you don’t believe me, go try it out for yourself.

#2 Concealer

If you’re anything like me, you suffer from super dark under eyes. Hyperpigmentation? Acne? Scars? Breakout? I’ve found the solution to all of your problems.

Too Faced Born This Way Concealer is your new best friend! This is the best concealer I have ever tried in my entire life… and that says a lot considering I have a whole drawer full of concealers. It’s creamy, blendable, not too thick, not too cakey, but still has amazing full coverage. If you’re familiar with Tarte Shape Tape and Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer … imagine if they had a baby together. It may seem expensive ($29) BUT you get .50 oz, when Tarte Shape Tape only gives you .33 oz and Urban Decay only gives you .16 oz.

You really can’t beat the price for that amount, not to mention, it’ll last you a good 6 months. A little goes a long way.

3. Primer

I swear this face primer is magic. It’s one of those products where you can instantly see results. If you struggle with big pores and can’t seem to find a product that actually makes them disappear, this primer will make your skin so smooth, and even out any texture to fill in all of those annoying little pores that seem to look 10x bigger the moment you apply any foundation.

This life-changing product is called the Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer. It’s unfortunately $48 BUT I promise it’ll last you at least 4-6 months. You need less than a dime size amount to cover your entire nose/cheek area. It’s worth every penny!

4. Eyeshadow

When it comes to picking out an eyeshadow palette, there are so many factors that come into play. I need to make sure that the shadows are pigmented, blend easy, create multiple looks, minimal fallout, I could go on forever, but you get the point!

I have one specific eyeshadow palette that comes to mind as soon as someone asks for my favorite. Best part about it, it’s affordable and has SO many color options! The Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette is my absolute favorite eyeshadow palette that I could not live without. I use it on all of my clients and myself so I know it works with all skin tones. This palette is $38 for 35 beautiful neutral, and colorful eyeshadows.

5. Lashes

Fake eyelashes are the type of product that every girl wants to wear but never has the time, doesn’t know which ones work, or doesn’t want to spend tons of money on. I’ll admit, I never was the type of girl that thought fake lashes on a daily basis were necessary, up until I tried this pair of lashes. The Ardell Studio Effects Strip Lashes in the style “Demi Wispies” are my favorite go-to fake lashes. I use them on all of my clients and myself as well. They’re perfect for everyday or full glam makeup. Best part of it is, they’re only $5.
